Now that AI is everywhere…
This is just a little reminder that I’m a real person with a humble, local life doing my best to pick events that I think a broad swath of other local folks might like. I’m also lucky to continue to collaborate with two other locals to keep this calendar updated and promoted so that it may be useful and used! That means real hands are hard at work to make sure this community resource is carefully and lovingly nurtured.
Certainly AI can have its proper place at the table. BUT, it’s important to me that FLXcalendar reflect the heart and soul only found in community events with other living, breathing human beings. Nothing beats the joy of connecting with people in the same physical space. Let’s not forget the hard lessons we learned in the isolation of Covid lockdown.
With care and kindness written in my own words,
Always truly,
Amelia
