When you just have to get out of the house

Taughannock Falls in Trumansburg is one of the few parks that have trails to the waterfall open all year. So, the gorge trail and falls overlook should be open right now, and it’s pretty darn cool to see tallest single-drop falls east of the Rockies (yep, taller than Niagra) all icy from the recent sub-zero temps. The gorge trail is pretty easy, too, if you’re not a seasoned hiker. As always, please exercise caution and dress appropriately.
