Opening Reception: Seeing Ithaca (Through the Eyes of Artists)

Last year’s event included nine galleries, each gallery exhibiting art on the broad theme “Seeing Ithaca”. This year we are expanding the scope to include galleries, artists with studios, and businesses and other venues that show art.

Galleries and other venues will celebrate Gallery Night on August 7, 5–8pm. Artists will have their studios open August 29, 12–5pm.

Guided River Paddle - Mullholland Rd to Conhocton Street

Join expert paddler Jim Pfiffer and our Volunteer River Guides for a guided educational paddle of the Tioga River (a tributary of the Chemung River) and Chemung River. As we paddle from Mullholland Rd Boat Launch in Painted Post NY to Conhocton Street Boat Launch in Corning NY.

IdleFest 2026

Join the IdleBoys for our first annual IdleFest. This will be one of the biggest meets we’ve put together, bringing together builds from all over along with a full day of cars, people, and competition.

Whether you’re showing up with a build or just coming to check out the scene, everyone is welcome.

There will be food trucks on site along with a live DJ keeping the energy going throughout the day. A full bar will be available for guests 21 and over. The event will also include awards, giveaways and competitions such as..
