ALL WEEKEND

It’s A Wonderful Life Festival
in Seneca Falls

The town that inspired Frank Capra’s holiday classic It’s a Wonderful Life is once again ready to share the magic. The It’s a Wonderful Life Festival returns to Seneca Falls, New York, December 12–14, 2025, inviting visitors to experience the warmth and charm of “The Real Bedford Falls.”

The beloved annual event celebrates community, hope, and second chances with festive traditions including a bonfire and tree-lighting ceremony, Mrs. Martini’s pasta dinner, horse-drawn wagon rides, a parade, costumed characters, and an interactive screening of the film. Saturday’s highlight is the It’s A Wonderful Run 5K, which draws more than 5,000 participants through neighborhoods lined with cheering residents. Throughout the weekend, the It’s A Wonderful Life Museum will host film memorabilia, special exhibits, and opportunities to meet cast members, crew, and family connected to the movie.
