Insider Tip

Getting involved in local government

FLXcalendar has a special page listing a ton of local resources, including links to local government websites. Depending on where you live, a great first step is to find out when the next council meeting or public hearing will be and to attend. At the very least, you will get to see first hand local government in action. Introduce yourself to your local representatives and get the conversation going.

For example, next week there will be three Comprehensive Plan Public Open Houses in Corning. It’s your chance to make your voice heard!
