Santa’s Arrival
10:00 AM
Arnot Mall, Horseheads

Buckle up for a jolly jamboree as Santa sleighs into Arnot Mall! Be an early bird because Santa's making a grand entrance on his flashy red fire truck, parading through the mall from entrance 1 to center court with a local dance crew from Let’s Dance, leading the way. Once he lands on his festive throne, the kiddos can meet & greet with him. And while they wait their turn they can visit and snap a selfie with his pals the Snow Queen and Silly Snowman!

The littles will get to enjoy face painting  and glitter tattoos by Jen Sekella of Painted Love Face & Body Painting. Enjoy crafting fun with the Horseheads Family Resource Center, and munch on sweet treats and cider from Great American Cookies (while supplies last!).

Don't miss this enchanting free family fun event as we kick off the most magical time of the year at Arnot Mal

Toys for Tots Gala
5:00 - 10:00 PM
ILL EAGLE, Elmira

People helping people is what it’s all about! There will be tons of raffle items, and every dollar raised from raffle items during the event will go directly towards purchasing gifts to help even more families this holiday season. Every little bit goes a long way!

Also, if you bring any unwrapped gifts to put under the Christmas tree, you will receive free raffle tickets to use towards hopefully winning one of the awesome items that have been generously donated! Can’t wait to see you all there!

🛍️ Shop Local: The Holiday Craft Fairs Are Upon Us!

I shouldn’t be surprised to see Christmas trees lit up in a few homes already, but it makes sense if some folks could use a little extra cheer a teensy bit early this year!

For many of us, this also means tackling holiday shopping early. Even though those tempting Black Friday deals are already popping up, remember that shopping local is one of the best ways to avoid being a Scrooge! For every $100 spent at local shops and fairs, $67 stays in the community, directly supporting our friends’ and neighbors’ livelihoods, instead of lining the pockets of billionaires.

And you’re in luck! There are at least a dozen craft fairs listed on the calendar between now and the end of this month alone! Even if you only get stocking stuffers, every purchase—no matter how small—makes a big difference in our community.
