 | River Fest 2026 River Fest is an annual community event celebrating the Chemung River. This festival features kayak paddles, live demonstrations, local food trucks, craft vendors, music, & more! This year’s theme is Appreciation and Gratitude for the River. We have an entire weekend of fun planned, with the main event on Saturday from 11am-4pm and a guided paddle along one of our favorite sections of the Chemung River on Sunday the 13th. Be sure to stop by and hear Elmira's very own Cantata Singers, with songs written about the Chemung River. They will be one of the highlights of our River Fest celebration! |
 | 9th Annual Oktoberfest Our legendary Oktoberfest returns! We'll tap the keg at 2PM with "O'zapft Is!", followed by contests, games, corn hole, giant Jenga, a beer marionette, oompha tunes and Oktoberfest classics. PLUS! We release the Festbier, on tap and in cans! And you know that this is just the start of the West End's party season! We've got Halloween and Krampusnacht on the horizon! |

 | Doll Up Like Dolly Y’all ready to pour yourself a cup of ambition? We are throwing the ultimate Doll Up Like Dolly Party, and you’re invited to Latitude 42 (Old Ithaca Road Horseheads) on September 25th aka Dolly Day from 6-9p. It is time to tease your hair, put on your finest rhinestones, and channel your inner country music queen. Here are the details: The Dress Code: Full-on Dolly. Think big blonde wigs, fringe, sequins, denim, or your favorite iconic Dolly look or just a Dolly shirt or wear some of Dolly's favorite colors. The Admission Fee: One book! Entry requires bringing a new or gently used children's book to be donated to local kids through the Family Reading Partnership of Chemung Valley. While you're there, we'll have Chey's Pierogi and The Magician's Kitchen with Dolly Themed cookies. Come ready for a night of celebrating the literal queen of country! |
