 | Hupstate Circus Fest Since 2021, Hupstate has garnered international acclaim for its extensive programming and wide draw, as the only all-circus international performance festival in the US. Past festivals have seen attendance of over 4000, including over 800 participants from out of state representing 20 states and 5 countries. |
FRIDAY
 | Back to School Themed Trivia Night to benefit Hangar Theatre’s KIDDSTUFF Theater Series Join us for a fun and friendly Trivia Night to raise funds for the Hangar Theatre’s KIDDSTUFF Series! Gather your friends (or come on your own!), test your knowledge, and compete for Hangar-themed prizes—all while supporting the Hangar’s mission to bring outstanding Theatre for Young Audiences to our community. Whether you’re a trivia buff or just in it for a good time, this is a night you won’t want to miss. This is a family-friendly event that will include both general knowledge (pop culture, sports, history, music) and some theater-related trivia. We’ll have a cash bar with wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages as well as sweet and snacky items to keep you sharp and on the ball. All proceeds go to benefit the Hangar Theatre’s KIDDSTUFF series! |

SEVEN ARTISTS + BANDS. And yes, this event is at Elmira Country Club. No golf required. |

 | Grain Bin Vintage Flea Market A vintage and antique market event on the first Sunday of the month, May through October, at the beautiful Trumansburg Fairgrounds. |
LABOR DAY MONDAY
 | Melissa Etheridge The inspiration, she says, came from sitting in a Florida hotel room while on tour and watching a raven outside the window fighting to fly against the wind, making no progress. “He’s just working so hard just to stay and not going anywhere,” she says. “And I was like, ‘God, this is me.’” This was also around the time of the Los Angeles-area fires, for which she and Wallem had to evacuate for a few days. That led her to think about some of the things contained in and represented by their home. “I thought about my house,” she says. “And that’s where my son’s ashes are on a shelf.” |
