![]() | Teacher Resource Day Calling all educators! PRI's annual Teacher Resource Day on Saturday, October 11th, from 9 am to 12:30 pm, at the Museum of the Earth has tables full of free fossil and geological specimens and other educational materials for teachers to use in their classrooms. The event is free and exclusively for teachers. In addition to the resource giveaway, there are tours of PRI's extensive collections, the Museum of the Earth, our current temporary (and beautiful) Marvelous Mollusks exhibit as well as our newly installed Eurypterid exhibit and the also beautiful Blaschkas Glass Invertebrates. |
![]() | OktoberFEAST The Rotary Club of Corning is excited to announce the inaugural OktoberfeAst celebration — a one-day, adults-only (ages 21+) festival of food, tasting, live music, and games. The event will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Nasser Civic Center in Corning NY. OktoberfeAst will feature a curated lineup of local food trucks, craft breweries, cideries, and wineries, along with live entertainment and interactive games and activities. It’s a celebration of the best our region has to offer—and all proceeds will go toward supporting the Corning Rotary Club’s service projects in the local community. |
