 | Vintage Grand Prix History and prestige return to the birthplace of North American road racing for one of the largest vintage racing events in the country at the Hilliard U.S. Vintage Grand Prix. The Grand Prix weekend is a true celebration of motorsport’s past, along with the cars and people who have made it what it is today. In addition to the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA), the on-track portion of the weekend also includes the highly competitive Trans-Am Championship. |

 | Flower & Cupcake Crawl “Join us for the Flower & Cupcake Crawl tonight from 5pm to 8pm! Start at Spellbound Books (20 Church St.), where you'll grab your flower sleeve and event map.  | Ballet Auditions OPEN AUDITIONS for the 2025-2026 season - Saturday at 12:45pm at The Ballet Center Studio, 504-506 North Plaint St in Ithaca. Season will include: Alice in Wonderland and Carnival of the Animals, The Nutcracker, Winter Dance 2026, and Cinderella. Ladies, please bring pointe shoes. For more info, call (607) 277-3546. A Weekend for Ithaca
As I put this one together, I started to notice that it was heavily weighted toward events in Ithaca. I’m writing this newsletter from Corning, so I understand that it’s not always easy to drive 45-60 minutes for events - and I apologize to our readers in other parts of the Southern Finger Lakes.
BUT, I don’t know exactly where our readers come from (feel free to reach out and say hello!). Plus I do love an excuse to do a little “staycation” in a nearby Finger Lakes town. So I guess that’s what I’m encouraging this time.
